I am pleasantly surprised by this holiday sampler. It is instruments-only, no vocals. Most of all, it is simple instrumentation which to me is the essence of what Christmas should be. It is quite hard to find holiday music like this these days. Guitar, harp, piano but no big orchestration, no kitsch overtones. My least favorite is Carol of the Bells but all in all this is a very nice free download from Amazon and I recommend it to anyone who likes the quiet part of the holidays the best.
